Among all types of coffee, my favorite type is gourmet flavored coffee. You might wonder why. Tell me tell you the reasons now.
The Wide Varieties of Gourmet Flavored Coffee
There is absolutely no shortage of different flavors of gourmet coffee. The online store where I buy most of my coffee has these flavors: amaretto, almond, butterscotch cream, butter rum, cherry cobbler, cherry bomb, chocolate cherry, chocolate almond, chocolate marshmallow, chocolate Irish Cream, chocolate raspberry, chocolate mint, orange, cinnamon hazelnut, pumpkin spice, orange, vanilla nut, vanilla almond, etc., etc., etc. I have only tried a fraction of all these go types of gourmet flavored coffee.
You Should Know How Gourmet Flavored Coffee is Made
Obviously, coffee beans can’t be grown with all these different flavors. Gourmet flavored coffee begins with a base like Colombia Supremo, to which pure flavors are added. There are no sugars or chemical additives in gourmet flavored coffee. The end result of this process is a wonderfully delicious coffee, so delicious that flavored coffee can become addictive. With so many flavors to choose from, you will never become bored when drinking gourmet flavored coffee.
The Best Way to Brew Gourmet Flavored Coffee
Like all types of coffee, gourmet flavored coffee will taste better when it’s brewed correctly. Start by keeping all your coffee brewing equipment as clean as possible. Coffee residue, especially flavored coffee residue, can leave later pots of coffee tasting funny. I make a practice of cleaning all of my coffee brewing equipment each time I make coffee.
Water is another important factor in brewing a great cup of gourmet flavored coffee. Be sure to use filtered cold water so that the gourmet flavor is not masked. For really fresh flavor, start with coffee beans and grind them yourself. The coffee will stay fresh longer. Each time you make a pot of coffee, measure and grind just the amount you need. I think you’ll agree that freshly ground gourmet flavored coffee can’t be beat.

If your doctor has told you to cut back or even eliminate caffeine you probably left the office in a state of semi-panic. Coffee holds a special place in many people’s daily routine. It’s not always the caffeine that makes people love coffee, for some it is the flavor and aroma that excite the senses. So what are you to do now that you can’t enjoy your piping hot mug of hazelnut coffee? Don’t despair, despite what you might know, gourmet coffee is available in decaffeinated varieties.
Gourmet coffee producers finally realized that they had to produce decaffeinated versions to keep up with the ever-growing population of health wise individuals. The taste of decaf coffees may be slightly different than that of regular roast coffees but it can still be flavored and have a nice flavor to them.
Typically there are two methods for decaffeinating coffee. With either of the processes it is done before the beans are roasted and a little of the flavor of the bean is lost. One process uses a solvent to absorb the caffeine from the beans and then they are washed to remove the solvent.
The alternative process uses a method called the Swiss Water method. There are no chemicals used, which for some people is important. The coffee beans are instead treated with hot water and steam to remove the caffeine; however, they also lose some of their oils which is where their flavor lies.
In order to retain more flavor during the decaffeination process, the very best green coffee beans must be used. This of course means you, the consumer, will pay more for the coffee, but you won’t be as disappointed with the flavor.
Once the coffee beans are decaffeinated, gourmet coffee companies can create those wonderful flavors coffee enthusiasts have come to love. Not every coffee bean or variety is available in a decaf version. If you want a rich Jamaican or Ethiopian decaf coffee you will be disappointed. Part of the richness in these coffees is in the caffeine.
Where to find Decaf Gourmet Coffees
Your local grocer likely carries some flavored coffees in decaf, but to find the truly gourmet, flavorful versions you should look to gourmet shops, either online or in your local area. For true, full flavor be prepared to pay a little more than your typical shelf brand decafs.
Arabica Coffee the Arabica Reserve Blend Decaf coffee is an excellent decaffeinated coffee that does not have that lingering after taste that many cheaper decafs do.
One of the top rated decaffeinated coffees available, as judged by Food & Wine Magazine comes from Volcanica Coffee. Volcanica Coffee beans come from some of the best coffee growing regions in the world such as Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Hawaii. The most popular of their coffees is the Costa Rican Blend.
Coffee enthusiasts who are looking for both a decaf coffee and an organic coffee should try Caffe Appassionato. These organically grown coffee beans are processed using the Swiss Water method and roasted at very low temperatures to create a near perfect decaf coffee.
While there are many shelf brands of decaffeinated coffee available, true coffee lovers will find more satisfaction in the beans that have been carefully processed just for decaf lovers. Buying from the local grocer may save some money but in the end these coffees will leave a bitter taste in your mouth.
Though a few diehard coffee connoisseurs may argue that coffee is not meant to be flavored, there are a lot of regular coffee addicts who would wish to try all the different gourmet flavored coffee available in the market. There is a wide range of coffee flavors- some truly exotic, some sweet, some with strong flavor. The different coffee flavors include butter cream, almond, vanilla nut, vanilla almond and chocolate. Open-minded coffee lovers can enjoy different flavors and drink a cup of coffee with different flavors every day. Coffee is arguably the world’s most popular beverage and the quality of coffee has gone through many changes, developments and upgrades. Even for a casual morning coffee drinker, there’s nothing to tickle the palate quite like a hot mug of smooth gourmet coffee. As most of us are aware, there are two types of coffee – Arabica and Robusta. Robusta coffee contains maximum caffeine and also economically priced. Arabica, which is commonly known as gourmet coffee is the best grade of coffee. Coffee enthusiasts will tell you that gourmet coffee has a much better smell and more desirable flavors than Robusta. What is gourmet flavored coffee? It is adding different flavors to the coffee after it has been roasted. Many people think that gourmet coffee has a limited choice of flavors. This is not true as coffee addicts, fond of experimenting, will tell you there are more than a hundred types of gourmet coffee flavors for one to choose from. You can find that gourmet coffee of this nature is already ground, but you can also get different flavors of fresh and ready-to-use coffee beans. As a matter of fact, it is preferable that true coffee lovers should get a coffee machine to make one’s own gourmet flavored coffee in. With own coffee machines, you can easily get a much better flavor out of the coffee beans and this will help you enjoy your gourmet coffee of much finer quality. As a gourmet flavored coffee, hazelnut coffee cannot be improved upon especially if you enjoy coffee on a cold winter day. There is the chocolate flavored coffee that is somewhat sweet and perfect for most young people who may not opt for the natural bitterness of coffee. Few people are fond of caramel coffee. This is certainly sweet to taste but the real coffee addicts will probably not enjoy this flavor too much despite its popularity. There are also gourmet coffee flavors like blueberry cinnamon, walnut, chestnut, peanut butter, chocolate raspberry, French vanilla, Irish cream, Seville orange, maple, Swiss mocha, peppermint, pumpkin spice, amaretto amongst many others. There are gourmet flavored coffees that are caffeinated and those that are decaffeinated. If you have a sensitive stomach, you can even find gourmet coffee that is gentler and low in acid. Here are a few tips if you are really interested in relishing flavored coffee. First of all, you must clean your coffee cup after you have prepared one flavor of coffee. This is necessary if you want to try a different flavored coffee using the same cup. Secondly, you must use immaculate water as water content may affect the flavor of the coffee. Another important aspect is if you wish to have fresh flavor every time, you should only grind the bean for each requirement.
For people who savor the taste and the richness of coffee, then there is more to their experience than just a morning wake-up call. To these people, drinking coffee is about the flavor, the scent, and the warmth. Often, these people will be the owners of specialty coffee makers and coffee grinders, and generally, they will drink gourmet coffee.
As you may suspect, the cost of this specialty coffee can be quite a bit higher than the standard grounds or beans, however, many people feel that the cost is far outweighed by the taste and the experience of drinking it. Others may wonder just why it costs more.
Why is gourmet coffee so special? It begins with how the beans are grown. Coffee beans are grown on large plantations in various parts of the world. The soil types, the amount of sun or rain, and the types of coffee planted will all have a great effect on the taste of the end product.
Many coffee growers find ways to weed out any standard coffees and to create hybrid plants that provide rich, flavored options. Since these types of coffee beans are less prolific and harder to grow, they are considered gourmet.
While there are many flavors of gourmet coffee, there are certain kinds that are most popular. You may have tried a few flavors before, and most likely, you have seen these favorite options.
Many people enjoy French Vanilla gourmet coffees because they are much softer on the palate than the bitterness of standard coffee. French Vanilla coffee combines the taste of the coffee beans with a creamy vanilla flavor. This choice is a favorite among many coffee drinkers who enjoy something rich and not as strong.
People who prefer something stronger may choose Hazelnut because these coffees include a strong bite, even more than regular black coffee. Hazelnut coffees are dark, rich and very strong. Many choices of gourmet coffee combine the Hazelnut with other flavors like chocolate or vanilla. If you enjoy a bit of a fruity taste, you may enjoy options, which include raspberry or blueberry. These choices provide a mix of the richness of coffee along with a bit of sweet from the fruit.
Gourmet coffee is pricier than standard coffee, but it provides a flavor and a taste experience that you will not find elsewhere. There are many gourmet choices, and coffee enthusiasts could most likely name three or four that they favor above all the others. Once you begin to enjoy the coffee, you will be able to find the best choices for you.

Good flavor, albeit a bit weak
I have had my Keurig for about half a year now. I have found that many of the k-cups offered make coffee that is a little too weak. Gloria Jean’s Hazelnut is a little weak, but I know that going in when buying the coffee. This is a good backup economical backup “cup” for me, and guests that don’t like strong coffee. Fantastic Coffee
LOVE IT ! order it on a regular basis. Great bargain, great coffee. Free shipping for subscribing just sweetens the pot to want this brand. This is a strong flavored coffee, perfect for a night near the wood stove or sitting around a campfire in the summer. Highly recommended! Great Coffee

I purchased this coffee for my husband and I to use in out Keurig coffee maker. It is very easy to prepare, as are all Keurig coffees. This coffee if flavorful with a delicous taste of hazelnut. The hazelnut flavor is not overpowering but is well infused into the coffee. Some hazelnut coffees we’ve tasted are overbearing but that is not the case with this coffee. This is a very nice flavor. We’ve had guests over who have also enjoyed this particular coffee. This is a very nice coffee!

Coffee lovers will all uniformly agree that hazelnut coffee is a very richly-flavored delectable coffee with nutty overtones. To experience the original taste, you must try hazelnut flavored coffee made with natural ingredients without sugar, calories and allergens. Hazelnut coffee is a harmonious blend of nut and coffee that is something distinctly unique. Even if you are not a veteran coffee drinker, it is quite easy to know if the kind of coffee you are offered is indeed of the hazelnut flavor or not. The aroma that is emanating from the cup should be almost identical to hazelnut liquor. After inhaling a whiff of the strong smell, the very first sip will tell you what sort of coffee you have in your hands. If it is sweet, nutty and gives you the feeling of a wonderful combination of coffee and nut, then rest assured you are holding a hot cup of hazelnut coffee. If you instantly like what you just sipped, then you are on the way to join the elite group of people from all over the world who have almost become addicts to this delicious blend of coffee – the strong Hazelnut. The diehard fans of hazelnut flavored coffee will say hazelnut coffee is very similar to a cup of plain coffee with hazelnut liquor added in order to give the coffee that addictive kick. But one must hasten to add, that when you really buy hazelnut flavored coffee in the market, do not expect it to have any liquor mixed in it. Hazelnut Coffee is an excellent refreshing top-up beverage after breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Hazelnut coffee has a strong aroma, terribly rich and temptingly creamy. Hazelnut coffee is said to leave a very strong taste that will linger in your mouth for long.
There is a popular misconception that hazelnut flavored coffee is meant to be taken only during the cold autumn and winter months. Nothing can be farther from truth as hazelnut coffee is still a very delicious drink any time of the year. Because of its innate flexibility, some people even add chocolate to their hazelnut flavored coffee, to make their coffee unique. Universally appealing, hazelnut flavored coffee is the ideal beverage for parties, social events, or office coffee-breaks. Although some coffee purists would argue against flavored coffee, you should not let any unreasonable bias to prevent you from sampling a highly addicting cup of hazelnut coffee. Do not forget that today hazelnut flavored coffee is surely but slowly taking over the scene. To substantiate this, hazelnut flavored coffee is today one of the best selling kinds of coffee in many parts of the globe. For a long, long time, coffee was just meant to be savored in its pure form – such as Brazilian, Colombian, and French Roast. Flavored coffee was a detestable monstrosity best avoided.
History has it that some monks were the first ones who started this trend of hazelnut coffee. Although this fact is not very reliable, a more believable version of how flavored coffee started pertains to the Arabs. It is said the Arabs truly loved their food and drink to be flavorful and experimented their cups of coffee with different flavors and aroma before they arrived at hazelnut coffee. But now, more and more purists are also veering around to enjoy hazelnut coffee.
A coffee service is commonly touted as one of the best perks that you can offer your employees; and one of the best ways to add positively to the company experience for your customers and your clients. Why a coffee service? And precisely what IS a coffee service?
Coffee Services Come in Many Flavors
When working with a coffee service, run-of-the-mill flavors such as French Vanilla and Cinnamon Hazelnut coffee flavors are just the beginning. There are several different standard kinds of coffee services, and each coffee service provides different services and equipment to your office. Each of them also offers benefits, both in general and specifically for your office.
Full Office Coffee Service
Most coffee service companies provide a free coffee machine – or more than one machine, depending on the needs of your company, as part of their service contract. You pay nothing for the coffee machine as long as you purchase a minimum specified amount of coffee and other supplies from the coffee service company. The coffee machines supplied run the gamut from basic Bunn Coffee-matic pour-over coffee pots to elaborate high-end espresso machines that make multiple kinds of hot drinks, usually dispensing one cup at a time.
If you opt for a full coffee service contract, the supplier will generally set up an automatic delivery schedule of coffee, teas and other beverages, commonly referred to as consumables. Some may also include such supplies as water filters for your coffee machine, bottled water, automatic coffee machine cleaner, coffee filters, disposable coffee cups and napkins. Most likely, you will be assigned to an account manager who will be available to discuss your coffee service needs if you find that you are ordering too much or too little coffee.
When you use a coffee service to provide coffee for your office and customers, you reap some very tangible benefits, and a few intangible ones. Here are just a few of them.
1. Your coffee expenses are far easier to track when you use a coffee service
If you are providing coffee to your employees and customers for free, it is a legitimate business expense. When you use a coffee service, you only have one expense stream to track, the bills from the coffee service. Compare that to tracking the receipts from the food service, from the supermarket, the replacement coffee machine when the old one failed, the box of tea. It will save your bookkeeper a lot of aggravation and time, and probably save you some money on your taxes.
2. You don’t have to worry about running out of coffee or coffee supplies when you use a coffee service
When you sign up with a coffee service, you could set up automatic regular deliveries of coffee and supplies. No one has to think about ordering coffee, and you should never run out of coffee again. That means no sending out your secretary to pick up filters at the last minute so you can serve coffee to an important client, or rooting around in the break room cabinets to find a leftover coffee pod.
3. It costs you nothing for coffee machine maintenance
Since you do not own the coffee machine, you do not have to worry about maintenance. In many cases, the coffee service supplier will attend to routine maintenance chores, or at least remind you when it is time to do them. More to the point, if the machine just quits working, the coffee service provider will generally replace or repair it almost immediately. The same holds true if the coffee carafe gets knocked off the counter, no more hunting around for hours, or buying a new coffee maker because the carafe broke.
4. You have a wide choice of coffee machine options with a coffee service
Most office coffee services feature a full range of coffee makers and coffee machine options. The most popular are single-serve coffee makers that allow each of your employees or customers to make their favorite kind of coffee, tea or even hot chocolate. They can supply machines for any size office or retail operation.
Even if your company decides that it can’t foot the entire bill for your employees’ coffee habit, there are coffee services that can provide you with vending machines, but not the “old school” vending machines that dispense watery brew. The new coffee vending machines dispense gourmet coffee in different flavors, as well as hot chocolate and hot water for tea. Using a vending machine in conjunction with a coffee company allows you to offset the cost of providing coffee for your office by collecting a small fee for the coffee sold.
If the thought of using a coffee service sounds intriguing, coffee services can be found in just about every city as well as online. Contact a sales agent or account representative from a local coffee service to find out more about the benefits of using a coffee service for your office or business.
Stephanie Larkin is a freelance writer who writes about tips for living and saving money, often offering suggestions about certain services to try such as office coffee.
The world is blessed with a variety of coffee flavors. Coffee beans are grown in different regions, giving them a unique flavor that is almost impossible to replicate. Their quality and price vary accordingly as well. As they come in many sizes, flavor, shape, aroma and intensity, it is a worthwhile experience to try savoring as many types as possible. One of the more popular choices for those who enjoy flavored drinks would be the hazelnut coffee and hazelnut flavored coffee. This is the perfect cup for those who enjoy all things hazelnut.
There are those who enjoy flavored coffee and those who don’t. Even so, adding spice and nut liquor to a brewed cup is not uncommon. This practice has been established long time ago, and further made popular by travelers who enjoy adding extra flavor (i.e. cinnamon) to their cup. Since then, the evolution of coffee has never been the same. The addition of sugar, crème, chocolate, spice, nuts and even liquor is a common affair today. All these were meant to enhance the taste of the drink, while keeping the original flavor intact.
This is the same with hazelnut flavored coffee. The addition of nutty flavor to a brewed cup produces a delightfully sweet aroma and smooth buttery taste. It is rich, deep, aromatic and creamy. The difference between a light or dark roast further enhances its flavors. This flavor appeals to those who enjoy a pleasant, non-overwhelming cup of brewed comfort. It is also suitable for consumption any time of the day, depending on your mood.
Reckoned as one of the best selling kind around the world, it is highly popular due to the description above. As a general reminder, always purchase premium grade beans to enjoy the best of your hazelnut coffee and hazelnut flavored coffee. There is no greater pleasure than to indulge in a tasteful, aromatic cup.

My favorite
In the four months that I’ve had my Tassimo and the many different flavors of coffee that I’ve tried, this is my ‘go-to’ coffee. I generally buy this product and one I haven’t tried in each order.
To be fair, I prefer Hazelnut to most flavors of coffee. I think this rates very high on the list of Hazelnut coffees.
======================================================================
Good for those with a sweeter tooth
My daughter likes this. It tastes just like anything Swiss Hazelnut should. Still has good strong coffee flavor but seems to need less sugar. Maybe it’s just the smell, tricking us but either way I guess less sugar is a good thing. If you like Swiss Hazelnut flavored things you will like this.
